Lagoon

Nate and Josh getting ready for bumber cars.
Colton is also ready to ram someone but he couldn't figure it out.
I love the determined look in Sofie's eye. She's ready to ram someone.

If you look close behind Nate and Josh, you'll find Sofie in a purple car. She is just spinning in a cirlce and I just had to laugh at her. Then there is Colton just stuck in one place. The ride operater did have mercy on him and let him go again with Nate's help.

First ride of the day and I got all 4 of them looking at the same time-success!

Aunt Erica and Sofie riding together. We couldn't have done it without Erica's help. We're glad she came because we needed an extra adult for all our kids.

Grandma and Grandpa leading the way. It was a nice day to be at Lagoon.

I'm not even sure what was down the well.

I think if I remember right, there was 9 of us in the raft. And most of us got soaked. The kids were not expecting to get wet-they were shocked.
She was so tuckered out. But she really was having a blast.

We know how to wear them out. Sweet Wiatt is snoozing good.

Josh having fun in the bumble bee.

Colton was really getting into the spirit of the rides.

Nate took Audrey on a lot of rides but this one was not one of her favorites.
Baby girl loved the carousel.

Oh, these 2! They sure are cute together but they can cause some trouble

Josh and Audrey enjoyed the boats.

We loved Lagoon. I was nervous about spending that amount of money but it was worth it. We got our money's worth and the kids didn't want to leave. They had so much fun that I'm actually considering buying some season passes at Worlds of Fun next summer. Just have to convince Danny of this.

Hoop Lake

I loved how Sofie was riding the 4-wheeler with her mom!

Colton was actually petting Missy. He was deathly afraid of her when we first got to Utah.
He's really excited to have his picture taken while petting Missy.

I love those huggins

This is one adorable little Ruby-girl. I love those cheeks

Colton loved playing with his Aunt Hotdog aka Holli

This would be MY girl. Brand spakin new shoes and she's soaking them in muddy red clay.

I thought this was just a sweet moment of pop and mom together after 32 years together.

Family bonding through fishing.

Grandpa with his little sidekick, Colton
Josh is waiting on Uncle Jason to help get his line ready.

Uncle Aaron and Josh spent some qualtiy time throwing sticks into the water for Missy to fetch. Josh was actually the most enthralled with Missy, he's do well with a dog.

Still more fishing.

Nathan loved spending his time down at the shore fishing.

This is the do I attempted for Mom since I couldn't get it to braid. It quickly came out.
Aunt Janae and Audrey hanging out together.

Lounging in the hammock was a favorite past time.

Attempting to cut a log after he saw Nate try it out.

Nate thinks he's big enough for this chore but I"m not so sure.

My little girl loves to get dirty but who cares when you get a smile like that.

Aunt and Ucle Hotdog are helping with the hammock fun.

And again Holli and Kellen are helping play with the kids.
It was a fun trip. A little too hot for me. I was hoping to escape to the mountains and find relief in the form of cooler weather. The kids had a blast. I know this because by the time dinner was over they were ALL whiny, fussy, irritable and many tantrums with tears  from playing all day at the high elevation. So, it was straight to bed and out cold within minutes of hitting the sheets. I love getting away to the mountains but after this trip I was ready to be back and out of the dirt because my 4 kids wore me out.

Dinosaur Park with Cousins

We packed our lunches and headed out for the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. It was fun hanging out with Tilisa, Helen, Erica, Wiatt and Sofie all afternoon. If I remember right, I think all my kids fell asleep in the car after playing. We love fun days like these spent with our family. We definetly miss these kind of days.
Just missing our little Ruby. But still a fun picture.

I had to add this one of Colton holding on for dear life.

I like this boy!

She really is getting to be such a big girl.
Nate went back in time with the Flintstones. That was a run cartoon.

Nate, Sofie and Colton in front of T-Rex.

Aunt Erica was Colton's little buddy. He held her hand all day and never left her side. It was pretty cute.

Park

While we were in Utah, Tilisa took us to a fun park. I think it was in Fruit Heights, it had a theme of Castles and dungeons. The kids really enjoyed themselves, they did not want to leave. The time really flew by while we were there.

Look at Joshy's grin, it says it all-he's happy.

Sofie enjoying herself in the swing.

TEAMWORK! I liked how Colton is helping his big brother climb the wall.

The next 2 pictures crack me up. Colton literally carried Audrey up the stairs and to the slide. While still holding her, he'd sit down and hold her down the slide.
Getting ready for the ride. But not quite sure what to think of it yet.
She looks happier now that their on their way down.

They were loving the sand! This was literally their favorite part of the park.

Just capturing the fun Audrey was having in the sand.

And just another cute photo of Mr. Wiatt enjoying the sand.

Water, water everywhere

Miss Audrey and Miss Ruby getting to know each other. What beautiful little girls.

We spent a lot of time swimming and hanging out in the pool. I think Nate and Josh basically lived in the pool. Any chance they got, they were in the pool. Luckily this year Josh was tall enough to reach the bottom so it made my life much easier. I actually felt comfortable letting them in the pool together alone. Then I didn't have to get in with them but could focus on the 2 little ones.

Sofie, Jen, Colton, Tilisa, Wiatt and Audrey

Colton, Tilisa, Wiatt, Audrey, Jason

I actually had Sofie and Colton tied together with the noodle. They couldn't get loose.

Nate is in mid-flight from jumping off the ladder. This kid was a jumping bean!

Josh looks like he's about ready to belly flop it! This boy never stopped jumping the entire time he spent in the pool.

Audrey enjoys swimming in a pool more suited to her size.

Colton and Audrey swimming together. Colton could reach the bottom of the pool but refused to try it out of his fear of water. It wasn't until the last night of swimming that he finally dared to reach the bottom and walk. It's my fault however, because I sent him and Sofie down a slide at the hot springs and they were not prepare to go under like they did. So, he became super cautious of water from that point on. But after he knew he could touch, he loved the big pool!
