RAIN GUTTER REGATTA
The end of August we had our cub scout rain gutter regatta. The boys always have a good time in this event. They get to build their own little boat then they sail it down an inflatable "rain gutter". Then they blow on the sail to get it down the lane, no hands. We hold it outside at the pavilion at our church house. Luckily no matter how the boys do they always have good sportsmanship. And the younger kids all have a blast running around and playing with each other.
Here are a few of the boats. Obviously you can see what one is Nate's. Josh's is the one with a dinosaur on the sail. They both chose their own colors and did the painting.

Josh is finishing out a race.
Josh won this race. I think he was 50/50 on all his races.
These two are very serious scouters and are going head to head.
Josh is receiving his award for participating. I think he got "fiercest" boat or something like that.
Nate got 2nd place I think. And I cannot remember what his award was.
