Preview of Family Pictures

Here is a preview of our family pictures that we had taken by Michelle Lewis at Fancyphoto. They turned out really great! Now I just need to get some printed out!

I loved this one with her little pouty lip sticking out, ready to cry!

All Dressed Up

I wanted a shot of all the kiddo's dressed up in there new Easter outfits. We got this of them after church on Sunday. It actually turned out pretty good. Colton's outfit came with a tie but he refused to leave it on. And of course Audrey is crying because she was hungry but otherwise it turned out cute.

The Couch

So, Colton took the couch outside to the balcony the other day. He spent most of the afternoon out on that couch coming in and out. I gave him a snack at one point, when I checked on him this is how I found him. He also had taken a sippy cup out and had it out there for himself.

Since he was being so good and entertaining himself I let him be. At that time I realized it was time to get Nate from the bus. When I came back I finished some cleaning that I was working on. I decided to check back on him and this is what I found below. It was a little cool that day so I went and got a blanket and let him nap out there. Sometimes a good nap outside in the fresh air is so refreshing!

Easter 2010

Just getting up and looking at their Sunday outfits.

We let Colton begin the Easter egg hunt first, before the other 2 could grab them all.

Then we let Josh begin collecting eggs.

And finally we let Nathan join in the hunt- he was fast so it's a good thing we let the other 2 have a head start.

This is all of them with their full baskets. I'm not sure how many eggs we filled but it was a lot. We bought a big bag of candy from Sam's club so they each got an entire buckets worth of filled eggs.

Colton would open one egg, eat the candy then go for another one.

Josh was opening his, putting his candy in a pile and then putting the empty egg back in the sack to be put up.

Nate was opening them up as fast as he could, candy in one pile and empty eggs in another pile to be put up later. It was funny watching the way they each went at getting the candy differently. It really showed off each of their personalities. We had a good Easter, I can't wait to get them all in their new church clothes and get a picture with all of them together.

My girl!

These are some pictures that I've taken of Audrey over the last couple of weeks. She was jaundice so you can see that in the first few pictures then as you scroll down her coloring gets better. They are put in chronological order from oldest to most recent. She is such a sweet girl. She is so easy going, she has been so fun to have around. I love cuddling with her, I rarely put her down. And if I don't have her, then Daddy is holding her or one of the boys want to hold her. She is going to be one spoiled little girl, but she's so sweet and good natured that you can't help but spoil her!

These are my boys!

This is what we've been up to lately. This is my boys being their crazy selves. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

(Someone dumped sand in Colton's hair)

He usually does just fine dressing himself but today he had a little trouble.

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!

The day you were born: April 3, 2006

Josh
has been such a spunky kid! He's our littlest guy but so full of energy and fire which will serve him well in his life. He doesn't let anyone big or little push him around. He can hold his ground. He's probably the one that looks and acts the most like his father. He has been such a blessing in our family. We are so lucky to have him in our family. I thought I'd share with you a few things about Josh that you might not know, one for each year of his life.

1. He is a carnivore! He loves meat. He really enjoys a good bbq rib- he can clean that meat down to the bone.

2. He has a soft spot for girls. At thanksgiving in Utah, he kept giving his cousin Sofie lots of hugs and kisses. Now he smothers his sister Audrey with lots of loves and kisses.

3. He's very observant. He's got a good eye for seeing deer, birds, rabbits or any other kind of animal when traveling. He's also very good at finding "things" in the dirt and grass. He has brought in so many nails, penny's, screws, you name it, he has found it in the yard.

4. Lastly he's really good at entertaining himself. He really allows me to get things done around the house by watching a movie or playing on the computer, being outside or playing with Colton. He's happy just having something to do. He doesn't have to have someone by his side to have a smile on his face.

He's such a good kid. Looking back at all the past pictures of him made me smile and reminded me of quickly they grow. They don't stay little for long and seeing him in the pictures progress from infant to toddler to preschooler reminds me that all that matters is to love them and hold them while they'll let you. We love you Josh!

Easter Egg hunt

So, while I was in the hospital Grandma and Grandpa had an easter egg hunt for the boys. They had so many eggs and they were ALL filled with candy! I hear that they loved it! I wish I could have seen them running around the yard collecting the eggs. They're lucky they have a grandma and grandpa that love to spoil them whenever they get the chance!
