One Week Left

Ok, so I'm sure you are all sick of pictures of me and my belly but I wanted one more post since I'm now down to 1 week! I am being induced on the 18th; I check into the hospital at 5:45Am. I'm really excited to meet this little girl but I"m extremely nervous and anxious about his labor and birth. I'm not really sure why since this is my 5th birth and I totally know what to expect but I'm the most nervous I have ever been. So, wish me luck! Anyways, I don't know if this shirt does my belly justice but that's what ya get. (Don't you love how Colton snuck into the picture with me? He's such a cute stinker!) I had Danny take the picture of me standing left and right to help give a better look at this ginormous belly. I'm big but I'm definitely not as big as I was with Colton. I do have a good amount of fluid but I'm also thinking that she's a good sized baby too. So, I'm wondering if anyone is willing to take any guesses on her size when she arrives next week. Last night I dreamt she weighed in at 9lbs 1 oz so that gives you my guestimation! Anyone else?

35 weeks

All the boys like to touch and feel the belly. They like to feel her move around. Josh really likes to lay his head on the belly and make himself comfy. Nate keeps asking when she's coming, he's really excited to meet her. Colton, well... he doesn't know what he's in for, he's really not ready to share his mommy yet so, I'm not looking forward that that transition.

This last pictures is SOOOO not my favorite! Danny was in not into taking any pictures and this is was the only one he would take of me. And I really don't like it at all! I don't think you can really see how big I am getting, this picture doesn't do the belly justice.

As far as update goes, I've been going to the Dr every 2 weeks. But I've also been doing weekly biophysical profiles each week. That entails a short ultrasound to see her movements, the fluid, etc. Then I head over to Labor and Delivery and have a NST (non-stress test) done. On Friday, the Dr measured me at 37 1/2 to 38 weeks along, so I'm once again measuring big but my fluid level is only at 17, where as Colton's hit a high of 38. She just might be a big baby. The Dr wants to look at doing an ultrasound to measure her size at my next appt at the end of the month. The Dr has let me pick a day to be induced, we picked March 18th, so in just about a month we will be holding our little Audrey. For now she's doing really good. Honestly, I'm kind of scared about her getting here because she is sooooo active and crazy inside, she NEVER stops moving. She gets hiccups all the time, the last ultrasound I was able to see her with her mouth open and she kept playing with her tongue, sticking it out and in. I think I'm going to have my hands full with her. But I'm so excited to see her, hold her, kiss her and have her finish off our family.

Dinner time

Nate likes to make different faces at the camera. I pulled the camera out at dinner the other night because of Josh. I bought Danny and I some ribs for dinner and made the boys a hot dog. Well, Josh, wanted the ribs so I grabbed the camera for some pictures. Nate wanted to know why I was taking pictures because he didn't want me to put them on the blog. I don't know why he would think I would do anything different.

Colton has now discovered how to cheese it up for the camera! He was cheesing it up when he saw the camera, and I didn't even have any intention of getting one of him but when I saw him doing this, I couldn't resist!

This is my little carnivore! He saw the ribs and told us he likes "chicken". He thinks all meat is chicken, we do correct him, but in his mind it's chicken and he loves all meat. He handed back his hot dog and had several ribs instead. He just makes me laugh because he loves meats and nuts and chips and dip. But trying to get him to eat any fruit is just impossible. We had fresh pineapple after dinner, he barely touched a piece to his lips and said it was gross. Unless he dips strawberries in sugar, he doesn't eat them. Doesn't like apples or banana's or peaches. I've made fruit smoothies or a breakfast casserole with mixed fruit and he won't eat the stuff, he'll pick out any fruit. But he's very willing to try different sauces and dips and nuts and meats. He's my littlest guy but at least he's getting lots of protein for strong muscles so he doesn't get beat up. (at least that's what I tell myself)

My boys

Look at that kid! Look at the joy in his face! He won't stay of the counter and one night we found him up there and had unwrapped all these suckers and he was one happy little boy! The boys have loved all the candy that Grandma and Grandpa sent them!

One night the boys were watching a movie. I was on the computer and looked over at them and saw that all 3 of them were laying on their couch. I thought it was too cute! I just had to get a picture of them.

I love that they have a good brotherly bond!

don't look at the floor in this one it is really cluttered. and sorry about it being sideways. I don't know why it's uploading it sideways, it's not sideways in my file, I've tried playing around with it but I have no clue what it's doing.

Snap shots

Colton found our little 4-wheeler that we bought from Cabela's and started riding it. He rode it all Saturday afternoon, it was pretty cute so I snapped some shots of him. So these next few are of him and all his different faces. His personality is really starting to develop. He's such a funny, loud, dramatic boy!

This one is of him actually laughing! That really is how he laughs!

Josh wanted a picture too and he wanted it taken with Jesus, and I just couldn't tell him no to that request!

This is the two big boys on Sunday night watching a movie. Nate chose his own outfit, isn't it just awesome!

Cookies and Colton

Don't let this picture fool you. He's pointing to the 1 cookie but really that is Josh's 1 cookie. His are all the other cookies. If you enlarge the picture you'll notice that he took a bite out of most of the other ones. He had finished his cookie and decided to push the chair up to the stove, grab the spatula and help himself to the cookies when I was occupied. He is such an independent soul since he watches his brothers do everything. FYI, yes, I did take them all away from him and put the pan up out of his reach!

Pregnancy Shot

This is my baby bump at 28 week. It was taken on Tuesday when I turned 28weeks.

I know it's big and it's still going to get bigger. So, this shirt probably won't fit much longer. I'm figuring she should be at least 8lbs. And again, I don't have any gestational diabetes. We just make big babies. I'm hoping that I only have 10 weeks left, I don't want to go any longer than that as big as I get. So, let's hope I can get induced around 38 weeks!

Christmas 2009

This is Christmas eve. They were waiting to open one gift but fist mom had to get a picture of them.

Santa had just visit out house.

This is the chaos after everything had been opened.

Looking for the hidden pickle ornament; it's a German tradition.

Opening the pickle gift.

Colton was so excited to see what his present was. It was a glitter ball-and he absolutely loves balls! I love his facial expression in this one!

Nate wanted 2 things: a robot and a remote control car. This is his remote control truck that he loves.

Josh kept seeing the golf clubs at Target and he really wanted it. So, he was super happy to get this gift.

All 3 of them opening up a present.

Look past the awful bed hair, no make-up and to make matters worse, I woke up throwing up this Christmas morning. But I wanted to show the bag that the boys colored and decorated for my presents, I thought they did a great job!

This has been a fun gift that they have all had lots of fun playing with. Nate just had to have his face in it and a picture taken, silly boy.

And finally this is what we woke up to, on Christmas morning. It was really pretty. And even though you can see grass poking out of the snow, it's really a lot of snow, our grass is just really, really, really long! It took Danny like 2 hours to shovel our driveway, I felt bad for him- too bad I was sick and pregnant(hehehe!) But, in spite of all that, we had a great Christmas! The boys had a great day, they loved all their presents. And luckily, I felt like everything was a hit unlike years past when it hasn't been that way. It was so nice staying in, having a good meal and watching movies. We hope you all had a great Christmas too!

Gingerbread house

One new traditon I wanted to start doing with the boys is a gingerbread house. I wasn't even going to attempt making the gingerbread from scratch I just bought the kit and it was worth every dollar. The boys had a lot of fun doing the house. They really did do most of the decorating except for the icing. I did that. But even Colton got into the fun putting things on the house, in between him eating some of the gum drops. I think this is something new we are going to do every Christmas now. These pictures show our work from start to finish.

This is a before shot, and as you can see I had to hot glue a lot of pieces together because Colton dropped our kit off the counter and broke a lot of pieces.

Colton helping out.

You can see they were all in on the fun and decorating.

More help from Colton.

Nate, Josh and Colton adding their touches.

Josh decorates the roof.

Again all of them working together. I love Colton's look of interest and awe.

The finished house. Colton really did not want to be in the picture this time. He was finished! It was really fun putting it together. And the boys enjoy looking at it each day!

Crown Center

As a family we headed out to Crown Center to see the lights and decorations. But first we decided to have some dinner. I have been wanting to go to Fritz's diner ever since we moved here and I heard about it. So, we had some hamburgers and fries before going outside. The food was just average but the atmosphere was really fun for kids.

The boys sitting in the railroad cart.

Josh is pointing and looking at the train that whiz's by your table.

You order by picking up the phone and this is one of the trains that drops your basket of food off right to your table. Cool thing is, the train doesn't even stop, it's just releases it as it goes.

The boys with their conducters hat waiting for the train to go by.

Now on the the lights and festivities of Crown Center.

I love this one of Nate's arm around Colton. (we needed Josh for it to be complete)

Josh is cheesing it, he asked for his picture to be taken.

Riding the horse backwards.

Going for a ride.

Little construction workers.

Colton loves rocking horses, even if his face doesn't show it.

Riding together.

My 3 guys in the wagon.

Don't really know why he looks so surprised.

Having lots of fun.

They enjoyed the fountain alot. It was fun watching it as it was synchronized to music.

Inside Crown center there was this ginger bread display that they had fun looking at.
