My girl!

These are some pictures that I've taken of Audrey over the last couple of weeks. She was jaundice so you can see that in the first few pictures then as you scroll down her coloring gets better. They are put in chronological order from oldest to most recent. She is such a sweet girl. She is so easy going, she has been so fun to have around. I love cuddling with her, I rarely put her down. And if I don't have her, then Daddy is holding her or one of the boys want to hold her. She is going to be one spoiled little girl, but she's so sweet and good natured that you can't help but spoil her!

These are my boys!

This is what we've been up to lately. This is my boys being their crazy selves. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

(Someone dumped sand in Colton's hair)

He usually does just fine dressing himself but today he had a little trouble.

Josh is 4

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!

The day you were born: April 3, 2006

1 year old April 3, 2007

2 years old- April 3, 2008

3 years old- April 3, 2009

Almost 4- April 1, 2010

Josh
has been such a spunky kid! He's our littlest guy but so full of energy and fire which will serve him well in his life. He doesn't let anyone big or little push him around. He can hold his ground. He's probably the one that looks and acts the most like his father. He has been such a blessing in our family. We are so lucky to have him in our family. I thought I'd share with you a few things about Josh that you might not know, one for each year of his life.

1. He is a carnivore! He loves meat. He really enjoys a good bbq rib- he can clean that meat down to the bone.

2. He has a soft spot for girls. At thanksgiving in Utah, he kept giving his cousin Sofie lots of hugs and kisses. Now he smothers his sister Audrey with lots of loves and kisses.

3. He's very observant. He's got a good eye for seeing deer, birds, rabbits or any other kind of animal when traveling. He's also very good at finding "things" in the dirt and grass. He has brought in so many nails, penny's, screws, you name it, he has found it in the yard.

4. Lastly he's really good at entertaining himself. He really allows me to get things done around the house by watching a movie or playing on the computer, being outside or playing with Colton. He's happy just having something to do. He doesn't have to have someone by his side to have a smile on his face.

He's such a good kid. Looking back at all the past pictures of him made me smile and reminded me of quickly they grow. They don't stay little for long and seeing him in the pictures progress from infant to toddler to preschooler reminds me that all that matters is to love them and hold them while they'll let you. We love you Josh!

Easter Egg hunt

So, while I was in the hospital Grandma and Grandpa had an easter egg hunt for the boys. They had so many eggs and they were ALL filled with candy! I hear that they loved it! I wish I could have seen them running around the yard collecting the eggs. They're lucky they have a grandma and grandpa that love to spoil them whenever they get the chance!

Enjoying Audrey

Colton is now fascinated with Audrey!

Grandpa reading to Nate and Audrey.

Nate loves to hold his sister, he held her for a long time on this day.

Grandma snuggles with Audrey.

Josh gives his sister some kisses.

My sweet sleeping princess!

Wow! 4 kids! It's not easy trying to get all of them to look at the camera at the same time, this is as good as it gets.

Holding his baby sister, Colton gives us a cheesy grin.

All the kids sitting with grandma and grandpa.

Colton is giving grandpa some bonks on the head, his way of giving affection.

It was sooooo nice having my parents here for the week. It went by so stinking fast for me but that's probably because I was in the hospital from Thursday to Saturday. We couldn't have done it without them. Thanks mom for all the cooking and cleaning and laundry you did for us. It was nice having a clean house. Thanks pop for playing with the boys nonstop. Thanks for all the goodies, gifts, and clothes. We really appreciate it. We're so glad that you could come out and be here with us, we only wish it could have been longer. I know the boys had a great time. Nate is still a little sad you left. Josh asks to go to grandma's house each time we get in the car, he wants to know if it's the right way to grandma's house. Colton was just looking at the pictures above and pointed and said "gamma" and "gampa." So, I know they all had fun with you and miss you. Thanks for all you did here! Love you guys a lot and miss you!

Coloring

So, we were at the lab getting some blood drawn for Audrey and they gave the boys some stickers and coloring pages. While I was in with Audrey, they were in the waiting room Josh and Colton were very content coloring and putting stickers on their pages. Danny showed me their finished work and this is how it was:

Josh's Artwork

Colton's Artwork

Danny said that they both did their own work- he did NOT help them at all. Josh did a good-normal-typical job for a 4 year old. And well, Colton can we say OCD! He said that Colton would line them up and if they were touching he would rip it off and place it further apart. The one that is touching and overlapping is because of Danny, he made him leave it there-Colton was not happy at all! So, we concluded that Josh: NORMAL and Colton: ABNORMAL!
