Easter Egg hunt

So, while I was in the hospital Grandma and Grandpa had an easter egg hunt for the boys. They had so many eggs and they were ALL filled with candy! I hear that they loved it! I wish I could have seen them running around the yard collecting the eggs. They're lucky they have a grandma and grandpa that love to spoil them whenever they get the chance!

Enjoying Audrey

Colton is now fascinated with Audrey!

Grandpa reading to Nate and Audrey.

Nate loves to hold his sister, he held her for a long time on this day.

Grandma snuggles with Audrey.

Josh gives his sister some kisses.

My sweet sleeping princess!

Wow! 4 kids! It's not easy trying to get all of them to look at the camera at the same time, this is as good as it gets.

Holding his baby sister, Colton gives us a cheesy grin.

All the kids sitting with grandma and grandpa.

Colton is giving grandpa some bonks on the head, his way of giving affection.

It was sooooo nice having my parents here for the week. It went by so stinking fast for me but that's probably because I was in the hospital from Thursday to Saturday. We couldn't have done it without them. Thanks mom for all the cooking and cleaning and laundry you did for us. It was nice having a clean house. Thanks pop for playing with the boys nonstop. Thanks for all the goodies, gifts, and clothes. We really appreciate it. We're so glad that you could come out and be here with us, we only wish it could have been longer. I know the boys had a great time. Nate is still a little sad you left. Josh asks to go to grandma's house each time we get in the car, he wants to know if it's the right way to grandma's house. Colton was just looking at the pictures above and pointed and said "gamma" and "gampa." So, I know they all had fun with you and miss you. Thanks for all you did here! Love you guys a lot and miss you!

Coloring

So, we were at the lab getting some blood drawn for Audrey and they gave the boys some stickers and coloring pages. While I was in with Audrey, they were in the waiting room Josh and Colton were very content coloring and putting stickers on their pages. Danny showed me their finished work and this is how it was:

Josh's Artwork

Colton's Artwork

Danny said that they both did their own work- he did NOT help them at all. Josh did a good-normal-typical job for a 4 year old. And well, Colton can we say OCD! He said that Colton would line them up and if they were touching he would rip it off and place it further apart. The one that is touching and overlapping is because of Danny, he made him leave it there-Colton was not happy at all! So, we concluded that Josh: NORMAL and Colton: ABNORMAL!

Audrey Claire

Introducing our little Audrey Claire!
Stats:
3/18/10
11:48am
8 lbs 11oz
21 inches

Mommy cuddles her baby girl for the first time.
Daddy holding his girl for the first time.

Grandma admiring Audrey for the first time.

Grandpa getting to know little Audrey.

She loves her hands up by her face.

She also loves sucking her thumb and fingers.

I love this one of her! She's just so beautiful-and yes, I am prejudiced!

Mommy, Daddy and Audrey waiting to be released. More than ready to get home.

Our little Audrey Claire is all dressed and ready to head home. She's so adorable!

This is the boys reaction as soon as we brought her in. They were mesmerized by her! (Colton was napping at the time.) They were so excited to hold her. So, when I told them they could hold her but they had to wash their hands first they went running to the bathroom to wash up.

Nathan holding his sister and loving her!

Josh was in heaven holding her. He has been smothering her with kisses and loving on her.

This is Colton's reaction to her. He wanted nothing to do with her or me for that matter. He was mad at me, he's warming up now to us but not at first.

Things are going good. She's been a pretty easy going baby so far. She's pretty laid back, it's kind of a nice change, knock on wood. Labor went pretty good. Got there at 6am and by 11:48am she was out. It went really quick, a lot quicker than we all thought it would. But I am just loving having her here. She's a sweet little girl. I'll leave it at that for now, she's ready for a feeding but enjoy these photo's for now.

Surprise shower @ Olive Garden

So, I've done this post like 3 or 4 times; something is not working for me and it won't let me publish all the others because of wierd errors. I've had to upload the pictures and re-write this so many times that I've given up. I started working on it last night and seriously I've had nothing but issue after issue. I had a lot of things written but now it's going to be very short and sweet. This is my last attempt at this post. I just wanted to thank every single person that came to the surprise shower last night. It was wonderful and it made my night knowing that there were so many of you that cared about me and wished me luck. I'm very lucky to have so many good friends in this ward. Thank you for all the great gifts; they are so cute and very appreciated. Thank you Jenny and Sheridy for putting last night together. I'll post pictures of her as soon as I can. Danny won't do it so it has to wait until I get home. But thank you girls for a wonderful night!

One Week Left

Ok, so I'm sure you are all sick of pictures of me and my belly but I wanted one more post since I'm now down to 1 week! I am being induced on the 18th; I check into the hospital at 5:45Am. I'm really excited to meet this little girl but I"m extremely nervous and anxious about his labor and birth. I'm not really sure why since this is my 5th birth and I totally know what to expect but I'm the most nervous I have ever been. So, wish me luck! Anyways, I don't know if this shirt does my belly justice but that's what ya get. (Don't you love how Colton snuck into the picture with me? He's such a cute stinker!) I had Danny take the picture of me standing left and right to help give a better look at this ginormous belly. I'm big but I'm definitely not as big as I was with Colton. I do have a good amount of fluid but I'm also thinking that she's a good sized baby too. So, I'm wondering if anyone is willing to take any guesses on her size when she arrives next week. Last night I dreamt she weighed in at 9lbs 1 oz so that gives you my guestimation! Anyone else?

35 weeks

All the boys like to touch and feel the belly. They like to feel her move around. Josh really likes to lay his head on the belly and make himself comfy. Nate keeps asking when she's coming, he's really excited to meet her. Colton, well... he doesn't know what he's in for, he's really not ready to share his mommy yet so, I'm not looking forward that that transition.

This last pictures is SOOOO not my favorite! Danny was in not into taking any pictures and this is was the only one he would take of me. And I really don't like it at all! I don't think you can really see how big I am getting, this picture doesn't do the belly justice.

As far as update goes, I've been going to the Dr every 2 weeks. But I've also been doing weekly biophysical profiles each week. That entails a short ultrasound to see her movements, the fluid, etc. Then I head over to Labor and Delivery and have a NST (non-stress test) done. On Friday, the Dr measured me at 37 1/2 to 38 weeks along, so I'm once again measuring big but my fluid level is only at 17, where as Colton's hit a high of 38. She just might be a big baby. The Dr wants to look at doing an ultrasound to measure her size at my next appt at the end of the month. The Dr has let me pick a day to be induced, we picked March 18th, so in just about a month we will be holding our little Audrey. For now she's doing really good. Honestly, I'm kind of scared about her getting here because she is sooooo active and crazy inside, she NEVER stops moving. She gets hiccups all the time, the last ultrasound I was able to see her with her mouth open and she kept playing with her tongue, sticking it out and in. I think I'm going to have my hands full with her. But I'm so excited to see her, hold her, kiss her and have her finish off our family.
